Math and Writing Tutor Hours at West Campus:
Let your students know that we have math and writing tutors available with regular weekly drop-in hours in the West Campus Learning Center. After this week I will move this information to the bottom of the newsletter and will update any changes.
Math 105 – Tuesdays and Thursdays 11am-12pm & 1:15pm-2:15pm
Math 054 & 055 –Tuesdays & Thursdays 2:30pm-4:30pm
Writing – Tuesdays 2pm-4pm, Wednesdays 1pm-4pm & Thursdays 11am-1pm
STUDENT ASSOCIATION
Student Forum with KBC’s Director: On Tuesday March 10th from 12:00-1:00pm, Carol will be available in the Commons for a Student Forum. The KBCSA will provide food. This is an excellent opportunity for students’ to pose their questions and concerns to the director of our campus. Please encourage your students to attend.
Midterm Relief: The KBC Student Association is putting on an event for students celebrating the end of midterms. It will take place in the east campus commons from 5:00pm – 9:00pm. The SA is providing free tacos for everyone who attends.
Student Association President, Lucas Wilcox, represented the Kachemak Bay Campus in Juneau last week at the annual UA student Fly-In. He was one of three students who publicly spoke with legislatures.
